Safety and responsible use

The app makes labels. The diver verifies the gas.

Scuba Tank Stickers helps create and print scuba cylinder labels. It does not replace diver training, gas analysis procedures, calibrated instruments, pre-dive checks, or team protocols.

Before Diving

Complete the real checks before relying on the label.

A readable label supports the check. It is not evidence that the analysis, calculation, or cylinder identification is correct.

  1. 01analyze each cylinder with a calibrated gas analyzer
  2. 02independently confirm O2 and He values
  3. 03confirm ppO2 and MOD calculations are appropriate for the dive
  4. 04verify pressure, owner/name, date, and label size
  5. 05inspect the printed sticker before attaching it to a cylinder

Convenience Features Are Not Proof Of Safety

Convenience is not confirmation.

OCR, saved history, defaults, and reprint workflows are convenience features. They must not be treated as proof that a cylinder is safe to use.

OCR
May assist transcription. Confirm the displayed O2 and He manually.
Saved history
May reduce repeated typing. Recheck every fill-specific value.
Defaults
May prefill fields. Confirm they apply to this cylinder and dive.
Reprints
Repeat a layout, not the assumption that previous values still apply.
